Position Overview The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to independently perform a variety of specialized clerical duties for the Licensure and Certification programs of the Long Term Care Field Operations Program.
Develops and revises internal forms.
Assembles necessary documentation and pre-survey packages for survey staff.
Job Responsibilities 1.
Reviews and processes all survey documents for licensure and certification programs, including review of all documents for completion and accuracy, discussion of problem surveys with supervisor, follow ups on correction of survey documentation, submission of facility responses, comments, and documentation with statutory time frames.
2.
Processes incident reports and complaints.
3.
Reviews forms and supporting documentation submitted by LTC facilities.
4.
Develops and revises internal forms used in the operation of the regional licensure/certification programs.
5.
Completes and processes monthly travel vouchers.
6.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two years of office experience.
Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 words per minute rate.
