Manager, Quality Program Innovation (Sugar)

Position Summary Primary Purpose The Innovation Quality Program Manager- Sugar Role is a hybrid role working on new sugar product quality, sugar brand quality maintenance and sensory analysis.  In addition to working on projects in the sugar innovation pipeline, this position will also contribute to ongoing R&D quality related activities in sugar. Major Responsibilities Works Partner with Food Safety and perform initial quality and food safety review for new products Communicate Supplier/Coman approval status to project team Provide verification of trial ingredient approval status Develop quality operating manual for new products with quality parameters and control plans Assist in planning, monitoring and documentation of quality attributes of product trials Manage shelf-life testing process for new and existing product Maintain accurate records of lab work, and provide statistical analysis and reporting Verify that any identified deviations prior to the scheduled run date have been communicated Conduct pre-production meetings with plant teams to communicate, train, and establish quality expectations for the product launch. Collaborate with TAG to develop trial product sampling plan Collaborate with Director of Operations Quality- Sugar to ensure collection of samples over the first 24 hours of production according to the sampling plan Schedule, manage and communicate results of corporate food reviews Ensure food review results are documented and circulated to all stakeholders. Maintain applicable professional development and training required for proficiency. Other program responsibilities as assigned Competencies/Skills/Knowledge Required 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Sensory experience in a CPG company. HACCP certification is required- must be attained within six months of hire date. Candidate Minimum Qualifications: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Detail-oriented and highly analytical Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects Ability to identify aromas and basic tastes Computer software skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time Experience in Confections (Sugar) preferred Education and Experience BS degree in Food Science or related discipline is required. MS preferred R-00759

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
